The Challenge
Each year, America SCORES Dallas sets an annual fund raising goal to be able to fully fund its program serving over 300 students throughout the year. As America SCORES Dallas enters its seventh year we are expanding our program to now cover schools in Fort Worth as well as Dallas and are currently preparing for our next year's seasons. As with every year America SCORES Dallas is looking to make the best program possible for its great poet athletes. To kick off our seventh year here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area we are hosting Soccerpalooza to bring soccer and the America SCORES program right into the heart of Texas.
Our Challenge to you is to help provide quality after school programming to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for the duration of the the Fall 2010 and Spring of 2011 semesters! America SCORES Dallas provides a safe, educationally enriching, and healthy environment for students to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change in their communities. By either sponsoring a player, making a donation, or becoming a player in our very first Soccerpalooza soccer marathon,YOU can help keep hundreds of youth in the Dallas/Fort Worth area stay off the streets and in their cleats!
Our goal is to raise $20,000 between now and our soccer marathon on August 20th at Pizza Hut Park! Whether you are contributing $1,000 or $10 to America SCORES Dallas' Soccerpalooza, you are making a significant difference in hundreds of student's lives across the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolis.

America SCORES Dallas Soccerpalooza!
America SCORES Dallas will be hosting its very first eighteen hour soccer marathon, Soccerpalooza!, on August 20th at Pizza Hut Park, home of your very own FC Dallas! The event is being hosted by your very own America SCORES Dallas, Dallas' and Fort Worth's very own after school literacy and athletics program for its youth! Every year America SCORES Dallas serves over 300 students in its after school program, and to help fund the ongoing efforts by America SCORES Dallas, we are hosting Dallas' first Soccerpalooza! Soccerpalooza! is a FREE event open to everybody!
While the event is free to all those who wish to participate, we are asking all participants to make a suggested minimum donation of $10.00. Each donation will go directly towards America SCORES Dallas and their efforts right here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The Soccer Marathon will last for 18 straight hours, and will be set up in three hour blocks. Players may participate for as long as they wish, but we do ask that they try to schedule their play within the six listed three hour time blocks.

The Soccer Marathon
America SCORES Dallas' Soccerpalooza will be aimed at being the absolute most fun possible for everyone involved. In order to help make sure everyone is able to participate and have a great time, we will be structuring the games as follows:
- The games will be held on fields 1/2 the size of a regulation soccer field. (Regulation soccer fields are 100-120 yards long normally!)
- The games will be split into 20 minute halves. Players will switch and take a break after each half.
- Referees will be present, and all of their decisions will be final.
- The games will be structured as 7 vs 7, but that number will vary throughout the night pending attendance, and special blocks. For example: If there are 40 players present, we will play 10 vs 10 rather than 7 vs 7. This will ensure everyone equal opportunities to play throughout the night.
Things to Bring
- Shorts and a white top. Teams will be divided up between those with pennies and those in white shirts.
- Athletic shoes, cleats are preferred. NO METAL CLEATS.
- Water bottle and snacks. Water and some snacks will be provided but we suggest bringing things like Gatorade or granola bars.
